To your left: regular "Mrs. Butterworth's" pancake syrup. Nice packaging. A plain brown which I suppose reflects the hue of the product itself. Since syrup, in general, is usually somewhere in the tan family of tone. To your right: Mrs. Butterworth's "Color Blasts" - green and blue pancake syrup. Why? I like funky colours as much as the next person. Want to dye your hair bright blue? Go nuts, buddy. Wear a loud coloured shirt if you want. But syrup? Really? See also: green and purple tomato sauce (oh, I'm sorry, "ketchup"); blue and pink spray butter. Shudder. |
