For Your Convenience: The People I May Mention
My Immediate Family consists of my mother, my father, my older sister Alex, her husband Brad, and their adorable seven-month old son, Dylan. So if I mention "mum", "my father", "Alex", "Brad", or "Dylan"/"Little Man", that's them. (I'm not sure how much explanation I can give here, really. I mean, "mum". That's pretty self-explanatory, isn't it?)

Significant Others: my fiancee, Nathan, who can be seen on my bio page. We met over two years ago, and the circumstances of our meeting, our friendship, and subsequent romantic relationship isn't summed up readily or neatly: we met online. Cast your stones now or forever hold your peace, and rest assured that I don't care what other people think of "that sort of thing". He is the most loving, gentle and intelligent person I've ever known, and he is truly my best friend - we have the kind of fun together that people would reserve for their best friend of the same sex. He understands me like no other and I know that I don't deserve his care or love.
We were finally able to be together in April this year. (I lived in Melbourne, Australia; he lived in New Orleans, and then Mississippi.) The story of that occasion, already written, is being considered for addition to Chonk.
My mother adores him. So does the rest of my family and friends. Not that I ever sought their approval, but it doesn't hurt, eh?
And I... well, I love him to death.

My best girl friends are Jo and Ingrid. From a recent email entry:
...Jo is sort of short, small, brunette, and
more pixie-like than ever since she had the life-changing haircut - she went
from hair down to her butt to just below her ears. [Me, on the other hand...
I can't take that plunge, I like my mop just the way it is.] She's also
very busy and involved with university and concert band and charities and -
she just seems to have a LOT going on at any given time. It's good for her;
she has a lot of energy to devote to different things, but she's human -
when the need arises for the energy to get back up to full throttle, she
does what anyone would do: lays down on her bedroom floor in the foetal
position and takes a nap. Caramel-haired Ing, on the other hand, is just
more laidback than Jo. She does roughly the same amount of stuff, but
without the nervous energy; she's funky and easy-going, and creates some of
the most amazing visual art you're ever likely to see. When I get some
money, I'm going to commission her to do some paintings for me.
They rock my world. I've known them since high school (which in Australia is from seventh grade through to twelfth), and they continue to be two of the best friends you could ever have.

Others: Tim, Adam. Tim, I met at high school; I don't know how to describe him, but he's the best. He helped me get the job at Eisa, he drives an awesome car, and he's just... he's just Tim. I've known Adam since we were six years old - and he never lets me forget it. He's crazy. And he has a site too.
