kaliedoscopic emotions
a whirling vortex of black milky light
interspersed with shiny mirror particles
and fleeting sparkling glitter;
a maelstrom within me,
sucking at my insides,
alternating between staggered depths
of perception -
a parade of happiness,
a cavalcade of despair,
uncertainty and fear tinted blue;
everything i do is tainted
by the deceptive silver touch
of a once-heavy soul
which refuses to rest
and let my light shine through.
