I am bored with my blog :/
I didn't want to be, but it's started to settle in... the boredom, that is. This isn't even one of those angsty "state of the blog addresses" - I'm just plain ol' bored. I write more in my journal and I have a couple of other projects up my sleeve, including my participation in 26 Things. (Although don't ask me what these other projects are - they're merely the germination of dreams to evolve, I think. I get little ideas and sometimes they pan out, most times they don't. I mean, look at my little book page - I've still kept the list up on the computer and in my journals so I know what I'm reading, but I kind of ran out of energy there for updating it, when I gave myself the task of writing nutshell reviews. Silly idea, should have just stuck to a list with amazon.com links.)
Well, in case you got through that bit, I'm doing a bit of living offline. I'm still gainfully employed at Ye Olde Sandwich Shoppe, there's the cat to play with and entertain and nurture and "bring up", I'm building back up into running, I'm enjoying the summertime (read: hanging out in air-conditioned comfort whenever possible), I go ice-skating once a week, I spend lots of time at the library, I have a freezer stocked full of Lean Cuisine and I'm beginning to see the light at the end of a huge tunnel of laundry that has been taunting me for weeks. It's not the most exciting or adventuresome life, I admit, but it's mine and I cherish it.
Although there has been some excitement: I'm an aunty three times over now. Taylah Pearl was born at 4:30pm EST (Victoria Australia time) on the 14th of July. Here's my sister and her brand new little bundle:
I have also been hopeless at keeping up with my blog and journal reads. Hopeless, I tell you.
