Toons

After cruising around Pin Up Toons for a while (I ♥ Rion Vernon) and reading his bio and some interviews, I happened to search for some info about Tex Avery, since Rion cited him as an influence. I found The Genius of Tex Avery, which seems a lot more interesting than texavery.com (and has an analytical essay about sexual themes in his cartoons, such as "Red Hot Riding Hood", which is actually compelling, even to the short-spanned of attention, i.e., me).

Movies

Nathan didn't even have to see the whole trailer to declare, "I'm sold." Neither did I. Who knows, maybe Stuck On You could be infantile crud, but I don't think you can go wrong with siamese twin slapstick. I also love how they capitalise on Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear's Acadamy Award nominations in the trailer. Anyway, come December, we're there!

This teaser trailer for Resident Evil: Apocalypse convinced me to add the first movie to my Netflix queue. It's currently sitting in the livingroom waiting to be watched, alongside Blast From The Past and disc 6 of "Queer As Folk (US), first season.

TV

I love "Angel", and I dote on Spike, and all y'all haters who diss William the Bloody can, ahem, bite me.

BOO!

Warning: RetroCRUSH's "The 100 Scariest Movie Scenes of All Time! will, in fact, become a giant time suck, should you sit down and attempt to get through all of them at once. Since yesterday they have put up 20 - 1, so that's what I'm going to go look at now. G'night, folks!
