Okay - I finally wrangled enough html and made a couple more graphics and finally pulled together something I'm halfway happy with. I still have some kinks to work out - such as how to link to my archives, and making actual links and about me pages - but, blah blah blah meta meta meta who cares, right? All I know is that I don't think I'll ever look at html again without going cross-eyed, and I have the grandmother of all neckaches brewing here. Stupid bad posture.

And some day I'll figure out an external comments service. So if you're utterly desperate to tell me your thoughts (not many people are, but you never know), you can email me - remember to remove the space.

Yeah, seriously, I know. I should probably figure out what I'm doing. But it's late and I value sleep on a much deeper level than I do the-sorting-out-of-the-log. Perhaps tomorrow I'll remember how to deal with... (cue foreboding suspense music)... The Blogger. For now, it is off with me to the land of cheesy novels and sleep (i.e., bed)... perhaps tonight I'll dream a dream in which all of my html-related geek knowledge is restored to me and when I awaken I can take on any template-making that lies ahead in my future. For now, though - g'night!

Test post. My lovely host shifted servers over the last few days, so I'm in the process of archiving the old blog stuff and I'm starting afresh. I can't be bothered installing any software so it's back to Blogger for me! Ignore the template and bear with me for a few days, it's going to be a bumpy ride until I figure out what the hell I'm doing, again :-P
